Who we are

Sellhand ("we", "us") provides an AI assistant that helps Shopify store owners run their stores. This policy covers our website (sellhand.com) and the Sellhand app (app.sellhand.com).

What we collect

• Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Google.
• Waitlist information — the email address and optional store URL you submit on our website.
• Store data — when you connect your Shopify store, we access your products, orders, inventory, and related store data so the assistant can do its work. We only access what the assistant needs to operate.
• Usage data — basic technical logs (such as IP address and request times) needed to run the service securely.

How we use it

• To provide the service — monitoring your store, drafting work, and sending you briefings.
• To take actions you explicitly approve (such as sending an email or updating a price). Sellhand does not change your store without your approval.
• To contact you about your account, your waitlist invite, and important service notices.
• To keep the service secure and to comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your store data to train third-party advertising models.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run Sellhand — for example, our hosting provider, our payment processor (Stripe), and the AI provider that powers the assistant. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information if required by law.

How we protect it

Your store credentials are encrypted, and access is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

• You can disconnect your Shopify store from Sellhand at any time.
• You can delete your account, which removes your associated data, from your account settings.
• Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Contact us and we will help.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
